Dear NYI Students & Parents:
Camp 2009 is a thing of the past. What a camp it was. I know that I will not soon forget the lessons that I learned. I kept all of the items that Chad Bohi gave us. I hope you did too. The kazoo to remember that God is crazy about us and and it represents God's song over us. The army men remind us to lie down our idols and empty our lives of junk. The ring pop to remind us to fill our lives with His spirit as a groom and bride become one, so we are one in spirit with Christ. And the glow bracelet to remind us to let our light shine at home.
I really hope that camp 2009 has impacted all the local youth groups and communities across Nebraska. I would love to hear any stories that happen at home that came out of camp.
BIG thanks to all the adults that came to camp and loved on the teens! Without your help, camp would not have been what it was! THANKS!
Teens of Nebraska, hear this: I LOVE EVERY ONE OF YOU! I want to empower you with the power only Christ gives! I want to see your local churches and communities come alive in Him! I believe He (That's God in case you just tuned in), has some really big things happening across NE. I look forward to seeing it play out!
We just heard here at General Convention that NYC 2011 will be in Louisville, Kentucky. I'm not sure what's there but it should be a great time.
Last Gasp is coming up August 21-22 in Hastings this year! It's going to be AWESOME and affordable ($50)! I look forward to seeing all of you there!
